Our training center program is designed to build self-confidence by encouraging and building skill, technique, efficiency and fitness. We instruct baseball skills in a very positive and most current level of instruction. We tailor the fitness routines to build muscle, bone, strength and speed, at an age level appropriate for the growing body. In addition, this program is specifically designed to get players moving and leading a healthy lifestyle. The classes focus on technique and instruction about the importance of working out safely and efficiently. Our training is scaled to athletic ability.
Training Center attendance to classes can be reserved and paid for by each class or an all inclusive membership. Training center classes may be offered free of charge to currently registered players, a charge per class to our current players or a full membership can be purchased that allows attendance to all classes including CrossFit Treasure.

Only training center members are permitted in the training center. This is not a facility that is able to accommodate siblings or other family members as they will not be permitted in the training center. A parent may be required to accompany the player while in the training center.

Our Training Center hours are published on our homepage. Hours are subject to change due to weather as most of the training capability is outdoors. All individual and class training must be reserved in advance.
Sign up for individual training lessons or courses listed below. We have a list of classes for Saturday and then another selection of classes during the week. Once you select a date and time, be sure to explain the course title and number for your training. These selections of offered class times can change daily as we see more players filling up the open classes.
INDIVIDUAL PLAYER ASSESSMENT
The individual assessment reviews the players’ overall abilities and need for development. The players evaluation can include hitting, throwing, fielding, base running and pitching. This is approximately a one hour session and will result in a recommended action plan for further development. This individual assessment only needs to be completed one time and progress is tracked in each area of the action plan. The assessments are normally offered on Saturdays.
Tulsa Little League coaches training is offered on every course listed below. Sign up to receive personal instruction on the course styled to enable the coach to pass this training onto his team members. Coaches must follow the normal progression in course levels.
Batting Tee Hitting for Tee Ball Players (ages 6 and under)
This is for players in our TBALL and Progressive TBALL leagues of ages 4 to 6. The instructions will cover bat grip, stance, bat path, rotation, contact point and finish. This is recommended for all tee ball age players.
Hitting Level 100
This is the first level hitting class for all players and required for higher level classes. Instruction will ensure proper grip, stance, bat path, rotation, contact point and finish is understood. A repeat session of this class may be needed before advancement to the next level hitting class.
Hitting Level 200
Hitting level 200 continues focus on proper basics which must be mastered. In addition, this class will advance load, step, sequence, and other learning individually needed by the player. Ball motion is introduced to start the hit timing mechanic and skill.
Hitting Level 300
Hitting level 300 brings results orientation to prove proper mechanics. All prior instructed mechanics are confirmed and technique is applied to show proper hitting result. Focus will now follow the path of hitting mechanic adjustments for pitch location. Level 300 hitting may take some time to learn and advance.
Hitting Level 400
Hitting level 400 brings additional ball speed variation, timing and pitch location skill. Advanced technique for contact hitting and hitting for power will be delivered. Individual characteristics of body size, motor skill and coordination are adapted at this level to optimize the players current hitting success.
Hitting Level 500
Hitting level 500 adds different pitches and timings for the advanced hitter. Pitch identification and decision making is targeted. All prior levels of instruction must be demonstrated satisfactorily to be ready for this more difficult level of hitting.
Sliding Introduction (Ages 6 to 8)
This session will train the player proper sliding technique. This is an introduction to sliding that will help the player practice the skill of sliding through repetitive attempts using our sliding mats. Players will be in socks during the training and must wear baseball pants, sweat pants or other pant wear that does not have any metal, plastic or rough material. No jeans.
Sliding Advanced Technique (Ages 9 and up)
A class that will confirm basic sliding technique and then add more skill into the slide and several sliding options.
Base Running (Ages 8 and up)
Base running will be explained and practiced. Best instruction on base running and sliding commands and decisions. Base path running and rules, home to first, foot placement and running thru bases. We will also review and practice base running mindset, job and coach signals.
Advanced Base Running (Ages 11 and up)
Base running will be explained and practiced. Best instruction on base running and sliding commands and decisions. Leading off, base stealing, secondary leads, foot placement and base running situations. We will also review and practice base running mindset, job and coach signals.
Pitching Introduction level 100 (Ages 8 and up)
The introductory pitching class will cover pitching grips, throwing drills, full wind-up pitching mechanics, and crossover symmetry band exercises. This course is a pre-requisite for the Pitching Next Level 200 class.
Pitching Next Level 200
The pitching next level class is a continuation of the level 100 instruction. We will work on consistency of throwing grips, mechanics and proper delivery. Most emphasis is placed on achieving ball placement in the strike zone at will. We will practice pitching and address pitching mentality. The player may need to attend this class each week until mastering the art of throwing strikes.
Pitching Ball Placement and Strategy 300
Pitch zone placement, speeds and climbing zones will be discussed and practiced. This is a more comprehensive course on key pitching concepts and strategy.
Pitching Breaking Balls 400
The breaking ball grips, purpose and strategy is discussed. The breaking ball delivery is covered to instruct proper arm mechanics. Pitching practice for breaking balls will be incorporated into periodic pitching arm development. The player may need to attend this class each week until mastering the breaking ball.
Advanced Pitching Individual Instruction
Personal training is conducted individually and in small groups to advance pitching mechanics, consistency, delivery and velocity. Periodic personal training for pre-season, in-season and off-season programs are developed for the dedicated pitcher.
Infield Skill Development (Ages 6 to 9)
Instruction of fielding and throwing skills for infielders is taught. The proper fielding technique, ball grip, transfer and throwing mechanics are practiced.
Advanced Infield Skills (Ages 9 and up)
Instruction of fielding and throwing skills for infielders is taught. This advanced class is for ages 9 and up. The proper fielding technique, ball grip, transfer and throwing mechanics are practiced. Infielder drills for skill development are conducted.
First Base Defensive Skills> (Ages 8 and up)
The skills of the first baseman will be instructed. Fielding, playing the bag and game situations are instructed. This is a general level of skill development that is appropriate for all first base position players.
Outfield Skill Development (Ages 8 and up)
Instruction of proper outfielder position skills. One of the most challenging skills for the youth player is catching a ball hit in the air. We will review the proper fly ball catch and throw, fielding a ground ball and cutoff throws.
Outfield Advanced Skills (Ages 10 and up)
Outfielder positional play, responsibilities, proper catching and throwing, and implementing advanced fielding and game situation actions.
Crossfit Treasure classes are designed for attendance to all sessions during the week. Participants are expected to be at every class during the week and weekend or as much as their schedule will allow. To achieve the strength and throwing velocity benefits, attendance to as many sessions as possible is recommended. This is a highly involved and intense program and adjusted for age, skill and athletic progress. We will outline 5 week courses to be completed and players can continue to attend after the 5 week course is completed to maintain and grow to higher levels of fitness and baseball skill.

Baseball Strength And Conditioning (All players ages 8 and up)
Baseball strength and conditioning is a fitness and strength program designed for baseball players. The program is restricted to ages 8 and above and scaled participation is applied individually during classes. These are group classes that complete in one hour each day. The classes are offered consistently during selected weeknights and weekends. The training is very challenging and physical and participants are expected to attend 3 times a week. Register for classes below by selecting a class time and slot number and then dates to attend. Select every Tuesday,Thursdays and Saturday that your player will be attending over the next couple of months. The Tuesday and Thursday classes start at 5PM, the Saturday class starts at 10AM:
Baseball Velocity Training – (Pitchers ages 8 and up)
Baseball velocity training is a fitness and strength program designed for baseball pitchers. The focus on strength and fitness for pitchers is to increase mobility and strength that will incorporate the best daily training practices to increase throwing velocity. Overall balance, rhythm and range of motion will also be enhanced. The program is restricted to ages 8 and above and scaled participation is applied individually during classes. These are group classes that complete in one hour each day. The classes are offered consistently during selected weeknights and weekends. The training is very challenging and physical and participants are expected to attend 3 times a week. Register for classes below by selecting dates to attend.
